About Performance Impact

Extractor monitors the impact of processing reports on the system. If the report will seriously degrade response you will not be permitted to run interactively, or run batch processes 'Now'.

If you are running a Crystal report for viewing in PDF format, you will not be able to run the job interactively. By default, it will submit a batch process.

Extractor also controls the times during which reports may not be run.

Your system manager can provide you with more information.
